VICTORIA STURDY PHOTOGRAPHY

I am a newborn, baby and family photographer based my home studio located in Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. I started Victoria Sturdy Photography in 2016 when my 3rd child was born and I was made redundant from my corporate job in Clothing industry which was my career for 15 years. My husband bought me a DSLR camera for my birthday, as I wanted to learn how to take better photos of my children, as I felt they were growing so quickly and I wanted to document all their personalities and everyday moments. It just so happened two of my close friends were having babies very soon after and I when I photographed them , I realised how much I loved photographing babies.

I then invested in newborn photography education, under the close mentorship of famous photographers, Kelly Brown and Sue Bryce, who are two of the world's most awarded photographers. I am members of their online education community and had won many awards for my images. I feel its so important to ensure I create a relaxed baby environment so that the baby is always safe and comfortable and the parents always feel confident and relaxed. I want to give you the best experience so that it is a lovely memory for you at this special time.

I am dedicated to providing the very best photography experience to each and every client who walks through my doors. I specialise in maternity, newborn and baby photography because it gives me so much joy to photograph these fleeting moments, that are so precious for my client to enjoy forever.

I am qualified in baby safety and have attended in-person and online workshops from the best newborn photographers in the world.  I create classic timeless images and the baby is always the focus of the portrait. My babies are soothed and rocked to sleep so they always look comfortable, relaxed and peaceful in their portraits  

All my props are the highest quality, handmade bonnets and outfits and the softest New Zealand curly wool layers and rugs. I Invite you and your loved ones to a custom photo experience like none other. I will involve you in the process from start to finish and custom tailor the session of your dreams.
