What To Expect At Your Newborn Session
You're expecting! Time to book that session!
If you're expecting and desire newborn photos with me, I recommend booking as soon as you reach your second trimester. I require a non refundable session fee of £150 to secure a spot on my Newborn Calender. In the event you want maternity photos, I also offer those! Learn more here! Most of the images you see in my gallery were taken between day 5-14 after baby is born. Because babies are at their sleepiest and most flexible shortly after birth, that's when I will see you in the studio with baby. After 12 days, babies are more alert and less likely to curl up into the sweet poses we all adore. I do photograph newborns up to 4 weeks.
Baby has arrived! Time for the session!
When baby arrives, let me know right away. I'll set a firm date and time for the session. At this time, I will also send you newborn prep instructions. This is a detailed list, tried and true, that ensures baby is sleepy at their session. Once a date is set for the big day, follow the instructions the morning of the session and come on in! Bring your spouse, or even grandparents along! The more the merrier. (I do recommend smaller siblings arrive towards the end of the session). If you have something special you'd like to incorporate into the session, let's talk about that ahead of time. I'm certain I can create unique artwork for you!
Your images are done! Time for the gallery reveal and In-person ordering appointment!
2-3 weeks after your session, your gallery will be complete and you can visit the studio to view them! Bring your spouse, partner, grandparents or any other family member who might want to see the reveal. It is a really special time for everyone. (I'll provide the tissues for any tears;) It's at this reveal that you choose what images you want to take home. This is what sets me apart from other photographers in the area. I let YOU choose your favourites from the entire gallery! You can also upgrade and purchase additional digitals, wall art, prints or keepsake baby albums. Do you have additional questions?
