Baby Lara! Her mum has just viewed her entire gallery reveal and I can't wait! There's something about this image that is truly inspiring me for 2018. I attended Newborn Photography Show 2018 in May this year for the first time. The Newborn Photography Show is the first photography show in Europe to specialise in maternity, newborn and child photography. The main purpose for me to attend was to attend my first in-person Workshops with Kelly Brown from Little Pieces Photography World reknowned award winning photographer who specialises in capturing newborn and baby photographs. 

This newborn posing workshop will provide photographers with the right tools and cover all the key elements needed to posing newborn babies safely and confidently. 

During this workshop Kelly demonstrated with one live model using props & a posing bag.  She also went through how to style each setup, creating beautiful timeless images where the baby is the main focus of every Photograph.  I also learnt how to use different lighting techniques to produce a variety of images with small simple adjustments and how to create a session workflow that works for me.

Kelly will thoroughly explain every step with each pose and work with us to capture the perfect angles, composition & exposure.

This workshop is perfect for anyone wanting to get the most out of their session workflow, learn how to work with awake or unsettled babies or just wanting to speed up their sessions.

I just love this photo, inspired by the colours and poses I did on the workshop. It's the moody warmth of it. I'm admiring the selective focus and letting all of the other details fall off into a blur. I need to do more of that. I need to let the natural beauty of the images I create shine through. Sometimes it's hard, because I love the small details that make an image perfect and symmetrical. I love using simple outfits and styling to let the baby stand out. This cute little knitted pjama and beat hat was from Little Noggins and I just love it.
