February Half-Term Activities in Cambridge
As February approaches, families in Cambridge start planning how to make the most of the half-term break. It’s the perfect opportunity to spend quality time together, create lasting memories, and maybe even capture some special moments to cherish forever. Here at Victoria Sturdy Photography, I love seeing families bond and have fun, so I’ve rounded up some fantastic local events and activities happening this February half-term to inspire your plans.
1. Half Term History Makers at Audley End House and Gardens
15-23 Feb 10.00am-4.00pm
Join characters from the past for heritage-inspired hijinks and hands-on shenanigans at Audley End this half term. Included with standard entry from £12.50 per child. Find out if you have the skills to be the Lord & Lady’s butler at Audley End! Take part in Butler School and discover life above and below stairs. From testing your folding skills to top etiquette tips, we'll be making a job like laying the table into fun and games

17-22 Feb 8.30am-4.00pm
Learn practical bushcraft and survival schools at this holiday forest school adventure designed to encourage self-confidence and a sense of achievement. Ages 5-12. £45 per child.
If you’re hoping to enjoy some outdoor adventures, Holiday Bushcraft at Wandlebury Country Park is just the thing. From e.g., nature trails, wildlife spotting, and bushcraft activities, this event at Wandlebury lets your little ones explore the great outdoors while burning off some energy. Be sure to dress warmly and pack a picnic! Find out more
3. Meeting Magical Mammals
Join a ranger for a walk around the Park to discover all about the small mammals that live here! We might see voles, mice and shrews, and we'll teach you all about their habitat, diet and identifying features.
There will also be plenty of time to ask any questions about the small mammals we see (or don't see!) so feel free to ask away!
Suitable for ages: 5yrs+,
Young children will need to be quiet at times so we do not spook the small mammals!
£8.00 per person, everyone attending must have booked a place.

4. Family Film Screening at Vue
If you’re looking for a laid-back activity, why not head to Vue for a family film screening? There’s nothing better than enjoying a movie together with a bucket of popcorn and the excitement of a new adventure on screen. Many cinemas offer special screenings for younger audiences during half-term, with kid-friendly movies that will keep everyone entertained. Check out Vue listing here for the latest schedule.
5. Science Museum Live
The Science Museum is going on tour!
Experience the brand-new stage show from Mark Thompson Productions which will ignite your curiosity, fuel your imagination and inspire you in new and exciting ways. This unmissable family production is sure to capture the imagination of young and old alike, and teach you something new and exciting too.

Do you think you can follow the directions and find your way around a real orienteering route? Come along and join us to test out your skills and see who will be the first to visit all the points. You do not have to have any orienteering experience. The whole session will take place outside, so please dress for the weather.
Age: 8-13 yrs
Cost: £6 per child
Times: 13:00 - 14:30
Meeting Point: Outside the Den
All children attending, need to have a booked place.
Children need to be supervised by an adult throughout the activity.

Come and see what being a Keeper at The Raptor Foundation is really like! Get involved in helping staff finish of the morning routines; help prepare food for reptiles, parrots and birds; dissect pellets; participate in the flying displays; learn the falconry knot; put equipment on the birds and meet the reptiles.
£40 per child (ages 8-15 years) . Please dress for the weather. Day runs from 9.15am to 3.30pm.
