"We’re so excited! 

We normally do a family photoshoot every year but sadly this year my husband is deployed - he’s been away for 3 months and won’t be home until October. So this year it’ll just me and our 16 month old James! I’m so looking forward to you capturing some lovely moments of the two of us and I will definitely be sending copies to my husband. " Hannah

I love this family. Hannah is married to an American serviceman who was stationed over seas and she reached out to me for my Summer Family Minis as she wanted some portraits with her son while he was still little. She wanted outdoor wildflowers and fields and said she would love to be photographed beside a lake or water. I thought I have the perfect location in Cambridge. Lockdown had a bit impact and Mum just wanted to celebrate these moments with her son and family and reconnect with the love she has for the summer, outdoors and the fun times with her son and I think we created the most beautiful photos for her.    

We have the most fun and I love how Hannah's dress and James's baby's outfit is just so perfect with the natural environment of the fields, woods, and lake. Outdoor sessions with toddlers can be tricky  but with the right tips and tricks up our sleeve anything is possible! There was definitely may have bribed James with some snacks for those smiles ;-) But it is totally worth it! James is so cute and Hannah has these beautiful images that will last forever to celebrate the end of lockdown and I loved this session!
